St Joseph's School CBSE along with Ants Hunt Limited conducted a Virtual Marathon for the very first time! The event took place from 26th January, 2021 to 31st January, 2021. This marathon was conducted in a very unique way as everything had to be done virtually due to the pandemic. The participants had to first register themselves online, after which a mail was sent regarding all the details of the event. An app had to be downloaded where it tracked the number of steps taken by the individual in that particular time limit along with the photo of the participant. This could take place anytime between the dates given. Each individual was allowed to choose a particular pack according to their convenience. The pack consisted of the amount, distance to be covered and respective merchandise. The main cause of this marathon was to support the people of North Karnataka by raising funds for them. The event went with the theme #Run4Health #Run2Help. We were proud to have the support of news channels publishing this event and also a short promotion video by an ex Josephite; Mr Rahul Dravid - Present coach of the under - 19 boys National Cricket team and Former Indian Cricket player. Schools from all over the city of Bangalore was invited and people from the age of 8 and above participated enthusiastically. The event was a grand success and was appreciated by all.
