What an amazing day full of patriotic zeal and the feelings of gratitude, happiness and hopes!
St Joseph's School CBSE celebrated the 73 rd Republic Day on 26 January 2022, with a feeling of
patriotism and pride in glorifying the spirit of unity on virtual platform, due to pandemic
restrictions.
The online event was held and coordinated by the teachers. "Prayer does not change God, but it
changes him who prays." The programme began with an inter religious prayer followed by the
responsorial Bhajan.
Indians are all proud of our national flag, which symbolizes great values. Our honorable
Principal unfurled the national flag, symbol of our national pride and identity.
Dhruv of class 10 A highlighted the significance of the day. Principal Fr. Rohan D'Almeida
along with the teachers offered floral tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
The day was highlighted because of the constitution and proclaiming the Preamble of our
constitution is a proud moment for all of us. The reminder of constitution's preamble was done
by Noora Irfan of class 9A.
The celebration is echoed with beautiful and melodious song, sung by the school choir and
graceful dance by the students.
The programme was highlighted by the creative skit by our teachers. This skit helped each one
to understand the brotherhood and integrity.
The students of LKG - 9 th Grade participated in various competitions related to Republic day
and Constitution of India, highlighting the glimpse of unity of the nation.
The Principal Fr. Rohan D'Almeida gave an inspiring and thought-provoking message and
guided about need of constitution and how to uphold and protect the sovereignty and integrity of
the nation, promote harmony and fulfill the dreams of Dr. B R Ambedkar.
The beautiful celebration came to an end with the utmost completeness in the heart of
everybody with a message. "India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human
speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legends, and the great grandmother of
traditions.
The most valuable and most artistic materials in the history of mankind are treasured up in
India only".
May the Indian Tricolor always fly high! Proud to be an Indian!
