Children's day

November 14, 2022

Children's day was celebrated on 14th November 2022, in St Joseph's School in two sessions. The first session was organized from classes LKG to class 4 from 8:30am-10:00am. The celebration began from with a prayer by our school teachers, followed with a welcome speech.
The program began with chief guest Mr B V Sathish Kumar, a renowned magician. Along we had our institution head Rev Father Rohan D' Almeida, coordinators Ms Poornima Krupa, Ms Mary Sheeba, Ms Sherly Wilfred and Ms Nirmala Flavy Briggs. Homage was paid to our first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as children's day.
The program began with cultural events such as skit performed by PTA members along with Spot games. The PTA members also distributed prizes for the winners. A mesmerizing song was sung by teachers. A fabulous dance was performed by teachers’ from different department of the school, along mascots were dancing along the kids.
A fascinated magic show was hosted by Mr Sathish, were the students enjoyed every moment of it. The session 1 came to an end with the speech of Principal, followed with a vote of thanks.
The second session began at 10:30am, from class 6 to class 11. The event began with homage to our first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by Chief Guest Mr K Hemanth Kumar, a music composer and a music director, our institution head Rev Father Rohan D’ Almeida, coordinators and Mr Sathish, the magician.
The event’s Chief Guest Mr K Hemanth Kumar was given an introduction followed with felicitation. The Chief Guest gave a beautiful speech on how confidence plays an important role in building our achievements and little performance with music keyboard. The students enjoyed his music.
The event began with cultural performances and games. The PTA members performed a skit along with Spot games, distributed prizes. Teachers gave a soothing vocal performance, followed by an energetic dance from all departments of the school.
Mr Sathish gave a fantastic magic show along with moral values with his each magic. The session 2 came to an end with the Principal’s speech, followed with a vote of thanks.
