First place in 60 meters Run, under 10 girls category

Jithya B R of class 5 has represented RYS club and has secured the first place in 60 meters Run, under 10 girls category with a time of 9.30 seconds, First place in the 200 meters Run, under 10 girls category with a time of 34.00 seconds, Second place in long jump, under 10 girls category with a distance of 3.09 meters and Second place in 4 x 100 meters relay, under 10 girls category with a record of 56.86 seconds. Jithya has been presented with the overall championship trophy. This tournament was conducted by Adventure Athletic Academy, State level Athletics meet.




First place in the inline skating competition

Nakul Nabhanyya of class 2 has secured the first place in the inline skating competition held by Mother Mary School tournament, on 18.02.24




First place in the 25 yards Back stroke group 3 boys Category

Haran Joseph, representing Blue House, won the first place in the 25 yards Back stroke group 3 boys Category, Swim meet. It was held at WE, Health and Fitness centre. His record was 00:21.60
He has also won the second place representing Blue house in the 25 yards free style, group 3 boys, with a record of 00:18.18




First place in the 25 yards Free Style group 4 boys Category

Nethan Immanuel, representing Red House, won the first place in the 25 yards Free Style group 4 boys Category, Swim meet. It was held at WE, Health and Fitness centre. His record was 00:20.34.
He has also won the second place representing Red house in the 25 yards back stroke, group 4 boys, with a record of 00:27.00




Secured 3rd rank state level Abacus competition

Ashrith G has yet again brought laurels to our school. He has participated in the state level Abacus competition and has secured 3rd rank in the level 5, category 1, conducted by IQ plus academy. He was awarded with a memento and certificate.

Rishit Negi of class 11 has participated in the KIOC league and has been awarded for scoring 59 runs off 51 balls and taking 5 wickets, he was also awarded as man of the match.

Gabriel Elisha of class 7 and Elroi Elisha of class 5 has participated in the 3rd En - Garde Children's Cup Inter & school Fencing championship.

First place in 2nd Sub Mixed Netball

K S Shivaarjun from class 8C has secured the first place in the 2nd Sub Mixed Netball, Junior National level Championship, Representing Karanataka. This tournament was organised by the Maharashtra Mixed Netball Association in Nashik. We congratulate him for his achievement.

Sub Junior Gymnastics National Championships

Anya Maria D'Souza of class 6A has achieved 3rd place in the Sub Junior Gymnastics National Championships which was conducted from 16th to 19th February.





Swimming

On the 12th of February, 2023, two students from class participated in the WE and 3B swim Gala conducted by WE Fitness health and wellness center. We are proud to announce that Haran Joseph from class 2D representing red house has won the First place in the 25 yards Free Style, group 4 boys with a record of 00.21.51 seconds and as well as the first place in 12.5 yards Free Style group 5 boys with a record of 00.09.00 seconds.
Nethan Immanuel from class UKG 'B' representing green house won the First place in the 12.5 yards Free Stlye group 5 Boys with a record of 00.10.97 seconds as well as the Third place in the 12.5 yards kick bord group 5 Boys with a record of 00.15.00 seconds.

Abacus Competitions

On January 29, 2023, Ashrith G of class 1B has participated in the state level Abacus competition, held by IQ Plus Academy and has secured the 3rd rank in the level 3, Category 1. Ashrith competed with students across classes 1 to 3 and has been awarded with a momento and certificates for his achievements.

Anya Maria D'Souza of Class 6th A, placed 2nd overall in the state selections and will represent Karnataka at the Nationals in Kolkata in February.

Taekwondo

On 7th of December 2022, our school took part in taekwondo south zone competition which was conducted by The Happy Valley School, BT Nakul of class 11B has secured the 2nd place U-19 87kgs weight category also has been selected for Nationals. Suvanesh D Mahindra of class 8B has secured the 3rd place U-14 53kgs weight category.



ATHLETICS

The Students, namely Chithanya R Manjunath of class 7A, Hridhi Hazel Sunil of class 6C, Achelle Tricia Rodrigues of Class 8B, BhushaRaju of class 10A, Aldrich Christopher of class 10A, Ranier R Fernandes of class 10A, Parshva D Shah of class 9B, and Anuj N Gujjar of class 6A. Along with two PE teachers from our school, Ms Vijayalakshmi and Ms Roopa had travelled all the way to Mangalore to participate in this event. Competition was tough as students from all over Karnataka were present. Never the less, our athletic team participated well and we are pleased to announce that Chithanya R Manjunath of class 7A has secured the first prize for the 200 meters run and has been selected for Nationals which will be conducted soon. Bhushan Raju of class 10A secured the third prize among 56 students with a distance of 10.51 meters in Shot Putt and Parshva D Shah of class 9B secured the 3rd place among 240 students in the 100 meters run with a timing of 12.20 seconds.
We are proud of all the participants and prize winner and wish them all the best for their future endeavors



2nd PLACE IN 60 Mt's & 300 Mt's AT BANGALORE URBAN DISTRICT ATHLETIC MEET IN SRI KANTEERAVA STADIUM

Chaithnya R Manjunatha from Class 6 A has secured 2nd place in 60 Mt's & 300 Mt's at Bangalore Urban District Athletic Meet, Organized by Karnataka Athletics Association held in Sri Kanteerva Stadium on 23rd and 24th October 2021.



1st PLACE IN 600mts RUNNING COMPETITION ON NATIONAL SPORTS DAY

Chaithnya R Manjunatha from Class 6 A secured 1st place in 600mts running competition on account of National Sports day 29th August was organised by Karnataka Olympics Association held in Sri Kanteerva Stadium.

Honoured by Karnataka Sports Minister Narayana Gowda and KOA President Govindraju and other guests.
