The orientation for Class 11 students was conducted on 22 May 2023. The program began with a prayer for blessings and auspicious lighting of lamp by the Principal, class teachers and student representatives. Father Principal then addressed the students and welcomed them to the Josephite family. There was a short video presentation on the facilities and faculty, followed by a presentation on the academic structure of Class 11.
After some fun ice-breaker games and a quick break, students were taken through the rules and regulations of the school after which an interactive session on Motivation and Goal Setting was held by Ms Roslin, School Counsellor where she emphasized that dedication and perseverance are two essential values and skills a student should cultivate. She then showed a video depicting Hellen Keller's life as a differently abled and how she became successful even with her obstacles. A short activity was conducted to keep the students on their toes. She guided students on goal setting and elaborated the topic on how the students should set their immediate, long term and short term goals before their classes begin. The students had an eventful first day and are looking forward for their 2 years in St Joseph's School.
