"It is magic until you understand it, and it is mathematic thereafter" Workshop on the topic "Vedic Math" was conducted by Ms Shwetha R, Mathematics Teachers of St Joseph's School on 30th May 2023. Mathematic teachers from Grade 1 to 8 attended the session. Introduction was given on the topic, history of vedic math was briefed, benefits of learning vedic math were explained in detail. Worksheets were given to the teachers and explained a few techniques that can be used in class. This workshop helped the teachers to use simple techniques and tricks to solve the sums in a simple and easy method which will in turn help students to learn and like Math. Teachers felt it was very interesting and useful to implement these techniques for mental math.
