Healing the Inner Child, a psycho-therapeutic approach to help our students, release their pain of fear and anger stored in their unconscious memory, through body movement therapy, had a productive effect on them. It made the teachers empathize with their students and understand the emotional trauma they have undergone. They also experienced the essence of Self Love and understood the dynamics of unhealthy attractions and attachments among students. It was a life turning moment for all our students and the teachers present.
Gratitude is a way of expressing joy. Student Rushil Haridoss proposed the vote of thanks and thanked the resource person, the participants and everyone else involved in organising the session.
FEEDBACK
I am Jennifer A of class 12 A
Healing the inner child session helped me come out of my hidden trauma. It reminded me to protect my inner self and not to do any self harm. This session taught me to be myself. And this session helped me to overcome all my insecurities and trauma and helped me to learn what my inner self wanted, etc. writing an apology and love letter to myself which calmed my inner self and also to promise myself to not harm myself anymore.

It was very therapeutic and made me understand things I had forgotten as a child. It reminded me of how determined I was as a child. As they said, when we learn to crawl, the next step for us is to walk. We were so determined about learning new things and never gave up. But, now we consider and seek approval from others for all the things we do and the decisions we take in our life. We forget who we were and how unique we are. We just want to fit in with the rest of the world and stop being ourselves. So i learnt that being unique isn't wrong and to express your feelings and not hide and seek for others approval from others.
Ms. Lalitha, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM), Bangalore
On behalf of the Respected Principal Reshma ma'am, Respected Vice Principal Geetha Ma'am and from students of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Bangalore East,
I, Lalita Ramrakhyani (PGT PSYCHOLOGY) want to take the opportunity to say thanks for the wonderful session on Healing the Inner Child conducted on 3rd August.
Our students enjoyed the session thoroughly. Session was very informative indeed. The session was very enriching for the students as they became self aware about their emotions and feelings. They expressed themselves in different forms which made them feel lighter and heard.
