The Kannada Rajyothsava celebration was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur in St Joseph's School on 21st November, 2024. The event aimed to foster a sense of pride and unity among the students while celebrating the rich heritage and culture of Karnataka. The celebration began with the singing of the state anthem. The campus resonated with the patriotic fervour of the students and staff, setting the tone for the day. The event was graced by Rajyothsava awardee for the year 2024, Rev Fr Prashanth Madtha who spoke about the need to realize the purpose of life and make it fruitful. Our Principal, Fr Rohan D'Almeida highlighted the need to foster brotherhood and tolerance, sustaining harmony which has been our tradition and culture. Their words inspired students to take pride in their heritage and contribute to the state's development. Every year, students who make remarkable contribution and achievements in Kannada Literature are recognised and awarded the Kannada Kannmani Prashasthi. The program enthralled the students. The Kannada Rajyothsava celebration in our school was a memorable event, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride and appreciation for Karnataka and the language.
