St Joseph's School observed the feast of St Ignatius of Loyola through novena by the teachers and students for 9 days. As it's our annual custom, a series of competitions were held during the Ignatian week on July 24th, by Ms Alice, Ms Sandra and Ms Vini Jacintha serving as primary Coordinators.
In the school's entrances the image of St Ignatius of Loyola was colorfully decorated. The grandeur of the feast was demonstrated with excitement, participation and enthusiasm.
During the Ignatian week, students of all the classes took an active part in the activities. For the very first time there was 'Inigo Cup' the Inter Unit Sports competition. All the competitions instilled and nurtured the core values of St Ignatius the founder of the society of Jesus.
A special open assembly of the feast was conducted on 28th July Friday. Prizes for the winners of Ignatian week competitions including Colouring, Fancy dress, Collage, Painting/Sketching, Puppetry, Poster making, Photography for Students and also for Parents, Short film, Quiz for Students and Teachers were distributed during the assembly.
