The speaker also spoke about the difference between Respect and Reverence and how we need to have humility inspite of the positions we hold.
Ms Maila also touched upon the current scenario about depression and the increase in suicide rates in children.
She suggested we could have a drop box in our school/classroom where any child can write his concern or fears they are facing in the box which later can be dealt with the counselors/teachers.
Lunch Break-12.30 -1.20pm
SEGMENTB - Dynamics that govern human behaviour.
The session began with a fun activity which threw light on the importance of giving clear instructions.
This was followed by another activity which helped us understand the importance of appreciation not only to those who excelled but also to recognize those who put in their best efforts.
The next important aspect the speaker spoke about was to remove mental barriers, which are generally based on language, caste etc.
The speaker laid stress on building team work and ensuring that all members are aligned towards a common goal.
