St Joseph's School organized National Youth Day January 12th to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, a visionary leader and youth icon. This day serves as a platform to acknowledge the vital role of the youth in nation-building and reading week to encourage students for reading books as ' DEAR DAY' (Drop everything and read) .
The programme began with the school anthem, followed by a prayer and significance
The special guest for the day was Mr Sangamesh Babaleshwar, chairman of Oxford group of school founder of Ammana Mandilu charitable trust. The Chief guest acknowledge the powe of youth for progressive India. He also emphasized on reading week.
The students highlighted the events through skit and mime.
The assembly ended with the positive note by Principal Fr Rohan D' Almeida conveying the message of Swamy Vivekananda teaching and the power of concentration towards the journey of bright future.
