Cross-Cultural Interaction with The Primary School Co-ordinator from Karakow Poland

February 20, 2024

"Embracing diversity is not just a choice; it's a journey where understanding becomes the compass, and cross-cultural interaction becomes the bridge to a richer, interconnected world." Our Principal Fr. Rohan D' Almeida, Vice Principal Sr. Sheena, Primary School Coordinator Ms. Jennifer Bernard, and the faculty from primary, secondary, and senior secondary schools had the opportunity to interact cross-culturally on February 19, 2024, with Ms. Kamila Abburu, the Primary School Coordinator from Karakow, Poland. This conversation shed light on Poland's educational system, instructional strategies, and subtle cultural differences.
The second-grade students beautifully depicted well-known Indian locations, while the sixth-grade students produced charming comic strips and gave them to Ms. Kamila Abburu. These would be shown to students studying in Karakow, Poland, indicating their interest in future partnerships, like exchange programs or cooperative educational initiatives, to enhance their educational experiences.
The interaction with Ms. Kamila Abburu provided valuable insights into the strengths and challenges of the Polish education system. The exchange of ideas and experiences fostered a sense of mutual understanding and opened avenues for potential collaboration. This cross-cultural interaction served as a reminder of the diverse approaches to education globally, contributing to a broader perspective on effective teaching practices.
