First Virtual Alumni Meet 2020 inaugural of our Old Student's Association of our School was scheduled at 3.00 P.M on Saturday, 12th December ,2020 On Microsoft Teams Platform. The programme began with a quote by Ms. Sheela Balan Mc for the day. Followed by a prayer song by the school choir. The programme proceeded by welcoming the gathering by Ms. Sheeba. The chief guest for the day was Rev Fr. Henry Saldanha SJ. In his speech for the first batch of alumni he addressed them as the historic batch and further in his speech he inspired the students to take up the Josephite values and discipline, further he also asked the alumni to be service oriented, excel in their careers, be a compassionate human being and as an Josephite alumni return to the Alma matta with love and generosity - "Men and women for others" The next programme was the message from Rector Rev Fr. Joseph Rodrigues SJ. In his message Father congratulated the Principal for his efficient leadership, Co-coordinators, Alumni's, and the staff of the school for their effortless work. Father in his message encouraged the alumni to carry the integrity, honesty, courage and the basic values and keep the motto of the school' Faith and Toil 'flying high. The message was concluded with a beautiful song for the alumni's 'Where ever you go may the lord go with you and lighten your path ....' A video presentation of the alumni's lamenting the flash back of the"Trip down memory lane" ... showcasing the chronicle journey of the schooldays was displayed. To which some of the students also shared their beautiful thoughts of school days. Further, Rev Fr Principal Rohan D' Almeida in his message appreciated the alumni for the 100% results and the efforts of the teachers which has brought laurels to the parents, teachers and made the school proud. In his message Father also shared a story which inspired and ignited the young minds to go on one's journey in in life to be a giver. Then came the most awaited, the felicitation of the toppers of the School - G. Anusha -1st place, Rolwin Cardoza for 2nd position and third position Jnaneesh Bopanna for scoring the highest marks in the CBSE class 10 Board Examination. The new council members of the alumni were elected, Vice President - Jnaneesh Bopanna, Secretary - The next programme was an inspiring and motivating speech by our school PTA vice -President Member Mr. Kamal. In his speech he requested the alumni to cherish the days in school as a Josephite, act as a supporting pillar, a role model and not to be forgetting to connect themselves with the institution and which in turn connects the world. The awesome day ended with the vote of thanks by Ms. Brinda. It was a day of memories to cherish and ray of new hopes. Wishing all the alumni's all the very best in the future endeavors. Thank you
